Moped rider taken to hospital after collision with bus in Connah’s Quay

The rider of a moped was taken to hospital this morning following a collision with a bus near to Chapel Street in Connah’s Quay.

The accident happened just before 9am.

Police closed High Street to traffic while emergency services dealt with the incident which happened near to Brown’s Furniture Warehouse.

A Wales Ambulance spokesperson said:

“We were called shortly after 8.45am to reports of a road traffic collision involving a moped on High Street on Connah’s Quay.

We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a male was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital.

His injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.”
