Merseyside Police is becoming increasingly concerned for the whereabouts of 24-year-old Anisa Lamaj and her 5-month-old daughter Medine from Everton.

Anisa, who is originally from Albania, and her daughter were last seen at the end of June. She was reported as missing on Thursday, 7 July after she failed to turn up for an appointment.

Enquiries have been on-going since she was reported as missing.

Medine is believed to be in the company of Anisa and they may well be outside of the Merseyside area.

Anisa is described as being white, of a slim build with long light brown hair. She has a fair complexion and brown eyes. She speaks both English and Albanian.

Anisa, or anyone who has seen her or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to call Merseyside Police on 0151 233 2321, 101, or the Missing Persons Bureau on 116 000.
