Man arrested following reports of ‘suspicious activity’ outside Connahs Quay High School

Update: Police say the man has been “released under investigation.”

Police say they have arrested a man today following reports of ‘suspicious activity’ outside Connahs Quay High School.

No details have been released as to the nature of what the man was doing outside the school but in a post on their Facebook page a spokesperson for North Flintshire police team said;

“Following a report of suspicious activity outside Connahs Quay High School this morning, a man has been arrested and is currently in custody. We would like to thank the public for the phone calls.”

Police have asked if anyone witnessed a man acting suspiciously near the school to contact them on 101 and quote W034803
