Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving after fleeing scene of a 3 vehicle crash in Mostyn

Update: A548 in Mostyn has reopened.

Earlier report: The A548 in Mostyn is currently closed following a three car crash this afternoon.

The collision took place near to the Lletty Hotel Hotel.

Police has said one man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and leaving the scene of the collison.

A police spokesperson also said a woman has been taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd for treatment.

Earlier report: The A548 Coast Road running through Mostyn is currently blocked due to a four vehicle collision

The crash has happened close to the Lletty Hotel, emergency services are at the scene.

Latest traffic report for the area states:

‘A548 blocked and slow traffic due to accident , four vehicles involved on A548 Coast Road both ways at Coast Road. The road is blocked near to the Lletty Hotel. Affecting traffic travelling between Flint and Prestatyn.’
