It’s day two of Connah’s Quay ‘freestylers’ walk from Sheffield to Liverpool while juggling a football with his feet.

[vc_row padding_top=”0px” padding_bottom=”0px”][vc_column fade_animation_offset=”45px” width=”1/1″][text_output]Its day two of an epic three-day challenge which will see football freestyler Nathan Davies, 41, from Connah’s Quay juggle a football from Sheffield to Liverpool to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.

Nathan who now lives in the United States, has been joined on the 78 mile journey by a group of friends including Andy Purcell, an old school friend of the man they call “the soccer showman’ and Ian Foster both from Connah’s Quay.

The group left Hillsborough at 7am yesterday morning stopping over in Glossop last night, they hope to make it to Anfield by Thursday when Liverpool play host to Dortmund in the second leg of their Europa Cup tie.

Ian who hasn’t had anytime to train for the walk due to being a last minute replacement told Deeside.com;

“It’s hardest thing I’ve ever done, Nathan has been unbelievable, some of the terrain yesterday to do keep-ups over was crackers!!

Nathan, a lifelong Everton fan said he came up with the idea a few years and is no stranger to such a gruelling challenge, he has also juggled a ball all the way across Lesotho in Africa for charity and becoming the first person to ever juggle a football across the nation.

All the proceeds of his Hillsborough juggle all funds raised are going to Alder Hey Children’s hospital to raise money for their burns unit.
