Deeside man pleads guilty to viewing indecent films of child sex abuse.

A Deeside man has been handed a community order by Mold Crown Court on Tuesday after admitting to making and possessing indecent images of children and possessing an extreme image of beastiality.

Cattery owner Emyr Williams, 65, of Aston Hill, Queensferry admitted viewing indecent films of child sex abuse, one movie image was of a girl aged just eight being abused by a man. 

Judge Niclas Parry told Williams:

“That happened to that child.

“It happened because people are prepared to view these images.”

“You need to understand that what you were viewing was actually happening,”

Williams who has no previous convictions, admitted making and possessing indecent images of children and possessing an extreme image.

Williams has been ordered to register with the police as a sex offender for five years and made the subject of a five-year Sexual Offences Prevention Order.

He will have restricted use of the internet, told not to delete the history of his internet use and has to make his equipment available for police examination.

The order also prevents him from contacting or attempting to contact children under 16.

Williams was also ordered to pay £1,000 costs.
