Those innovative chefs at Iceland have tapped right into the single ‘geezer’ market with this £1 cracker, a sure fire winner that will fill the freezers of many bachelor (ette) pad and bedsit.

The £1 gourmet extravaganza promises much “cooked, diced chicken breast pieces in tikka masala sauce in a Yorkshire pudding” however we cant say if it delivers on the proposition as we haven’t tried it yet -(YET!)

Cooking instructions do look a little challenging particularly post ‘wine bar’ – the tried and trusted method of dinging the whole thing in the microwave until you hear a crackling sound may be the easiest option, though please check your local fire authority website as they do offer late night cooking advice.

For those who are sticklers on detail here are the instructions:

The 320 gram meal for one, has around the same calories as two pints of Stella Artois, so you won’t be waking up hungry and packs a delicious 22.6 grams of fat.

Those with an eye on the planet will find the card from the packaging is widely recycled but the plastic is not.

All images and technical information is taken from Iceland.co.uk we added the other stuff, and thanks to the Metro.co.uk for heads up.
