Connah’s Quay Town Council by- election takes place today – Thursday 16th October.

The vacancy for the Wepre Ward arose following Cllr Kevin Kelly’s decision to step down from the role.

Wepre residents will be able to vote from 7am until 10pm at the Civic hall in Connah’s Quay

There are three candidates for the position – they are:

Richard Purvis – UKIP

Chris Risley – Welsh Labour

Antony Wren – Independent

Like all Town Council elections candidates have to live within three miles of the ward during the whole of the 12 months before the day of their nomination, and the day of election.

In today’s ‘fun quiz’ we’re asking –

HOW MANY CANDIDATES LIVE IN THE ACTUAL WEPRE WARD.

Sorry there are no prizes but, we are more than happy to like your Facebook page or give your Retweet if you guess correctly, the answer will appear tomorrow!
