Boardroom changes at Ewloe based Redrow homes

Redrow have announced some changes to the companies board.

Alan Jackson, Deputy Chairman and Senior Non-Executive Director of the Company will retire from the Board on the 1st September 2014. 

On Alan’s retirement, Debbie Hewitt will take over as Senior Independent Director from that date.

The Board is also pleased to announce the appointment of Liz Peace, CBE as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 1st September 2014. 

Liz is shortly to retire after 12 years as the CEO of the British Property Federation; prior to this she had a long and distinguished career in the Civil Service. 

Liz will chair the Group’s Sustainability Committee.

Liz is a Non-Executive Director of Morgan Sindall Group plc and Turley Associates. 

She is also a member of the Peabody Trust and a trustee of the property charity Land Aid.

Commenting on the changes, Chairman Steve Morgan said:

“I am delighted to welcome Liz to the Board.  Her extensive knowledge and understanding of the property industry and of central and local government will bring a valuable set of skills to the Group.”

“I would like to thank Alan for his advice and support over the last five years which has been invaluable during a time when the Group has seen a phenomenal turnaround in its performance.  I and my colleagues would like to thank him for his significant contribution and wish him every success in the future.”
