Air ambulance called to an accident on Deeside Industrial Estate

Update: A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service has said

“A man has been taken by land ambulance to the Countess of Chester Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.”

From Earlier: A Wales Air Ambulance has flown to the scene of an accident on Deeside Industrial Estate.

The helicopter was spotted landing at around 10am, a second air ambulance was seen overhead but didn’t land.

The nature of the accident is unclear at the moment, a spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service has said;

“We were called at approximately 9.20am this morning (Friday 23 February 2018) to reports of an accident on Deeside Industrial Estate.

We’ve got an emergency ambulance and a Wales Air Ambulance at the scene currently.”

The helicopter lifted from the scene at around 10.45am and headed back to the Welsh Air Ambulance base in Welshpool.
